Look What We Did!
March was busy....
We had 45 people at the Wesley Rankin Community Picnic volunteer to make place-mats for the senior citizen lunches held daily at the Center.
We had almost 100 kids and some wonderful parents from Dallas Christian School deliver 48 meals to the needy served by Meals On Wheels and throw a St. Patrick's Day party and parade, complete with a leprechaun fairy, for 110 homeless children at the Vogel Alcove Daycare!
Over Spring Break we had 109 volunteers deliver 240 meals for Meals On Wheels! We celebrated Ora Shipp's 102nd birthday and spent time talking with people in need of a meal and a friend!
We finished out March with 41 volunteers making 24 bandanas, 24 treat bags and 2 blankets for the homeless animals at the SPCA. We also made a $140 donation to the SPCA!
